AOC AGON Pro AG276QZD with 27″ OLED Panel and 240Hz Refresh Rate

AOC have recently announced their new AGON Pro AG276QZD. This is the company’s own offering in the ever-expanding 27″ 240Hz OLED monitor market. We’ve already reviewed LG’s 27GR95QE and Asus’ ROG Swift PG27AQDM in recent months, and we know that Dough, Acer and Corsair also have their own versions available or in production. AOC are joining the party now with their AG276QZD, in China at least although release in other regions is likely to follow. The screen is 27″ in size and has a 2560 x 1440 resolution OLED panel (from LG.Display) and a 240Hz refresh rate.
AOC AGON Pro AG276QZD Specs
The screen is 26.5″ in size and has a 2560 x 1440 resolution WOLED panel from LG.Display. There is a 0.03ms G2G quoted response time, ~infinite contrast ratio, 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 98.5% DCI-P3. Brightness is quoted as 150 cd/m2 base, and 1000 cd/m2 peak for HDR. The OLED technology panel will offer the usual benefits like near-instant response times, basically infinite contrast ratio, true blacks and per-pixel dimming for excellent HDR performance. The 240Hz native refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from NVIDIA and AMD systems, and will be certified under the NVIDIA ‘G-sync Compatible’ scheme.
The stand offers tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments. There are 2x DisplayPort 1.4 and 2x HDMI 2.0 ports offered for video, along with 2x USB-A data ports and a headphone jack. The screen also features integrated 2x 5W speakers.
Sleek new design and great RGB customisation
In this 6th generation of AGON monitors, the new AG276QZD showcases a sophisticated black anodised metal finish on the front cabinet combined with a space grey stand base. Its esports-ready design is further reflected by convenient features such as a quick-release mechanism for easy setup, and a user-friendly handle, perfect for carrying the AG276QZD to LAN parties and tournaments – a Kensington lock helps to secure the monitor in such public places, too.
The small foot print of the base leaves more space on the desk for the mouse and keyboard, which can be connected via the built-in 2-port USB 3.2 hub. A rubber cable management clip lets users tuck everything away nicely, overall reducing desktop clutter. Whilst the stand’s ergonomic features like 130 mm height adjustment, portrait orientation or tilt adjustment promote physical comfort.
Furthermore, for those gamers who like to match the monitor to their colourful peripherals, the AG276QZD includes Light FX RGB customisation options, that allow users to create the perfect ambiance for their gaming sessions. The Light FX can be synchronised with selected AOC GAMING and AGON peripherals (gaming keyboards, gaming mice, mouse mats and headsets) using AOC’s easy-to-use G-Menu software.
Pricing and Availability
The AGON PRO AG276QZD will be available from June 2023 in the UK with an RRP of £879.99.
