AOC AGON Ultra AGP277KXM is a 27″ 5K Dual-mode Mini LED Monitor

AOC China have unveiled the AGON Ultra AGP277KXM, a new 27″ sized IPS LCD monitor offering a 5K resolution, dual-mode support and a high-end Mini LED backlight. This is the first model we’ve seen in their “Ultra” range as well it seems. The screen has a native 5120 x 2880 resolution and 180Hz refresh rate, delivering a “retina class” 218 PPI pixel density on a screen this size. There’s also the ability to boost that to 360Hz at 1440p for faster gaming situations via the dual-mode function, still a very good resolution on this size.
Perhaps most exciting is the use of a 2,304-zone Mini LED backlight, offering high-end HDR capabilities including certification under the VESA DisplayHDR 1400 tier and a peak brightness of 1600 nits.
