ViewSonic XG323-4K-OLED-2 Launched in China with 32″ Dual-Mode OLED Panel

ViewSonic have launched their new XG323-4K-OLED-2 monitor in the Chinese market so far, but it will hopefully also be released in other regions at some point soon. It’s a new 32″ class OLED gaming monitor, built around the “dual-mode” WOLED panel from LG.Display which offers the ability to run the screen at its native 4K 240Hz, or alternatively you can drop down to a lower 1080p resolution at 480Hz. This follows on from similar models previously announced from other manufacturers like the LG 32GS95UE and the Asus ROG Swift PG32UCDP. ViewSonic’s model will also feature the latest DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity.

ViewSonic XG323-4K-OLED-2 Specs
The screen is accurately 31.5″ in size and has a 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution. There’s a 0.03ms G2G response time spec, a 450 nits typical brightness (quoted at 25% APL in SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, a 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 98.5% DCI-P3. For HDR ViewSonic also quote a 1300 nits peak brightness spec and certification under the VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black tier.
The 240Hz/480Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync, with certification under the AMD ‘FreeSync Premium’ and NVIDIA ‘G-sync Compatible’ schemes included.,

Connectivity and other features
The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments. For connectivity there are 2x DisplayPort 2.1 (with UHBR20 = 80Gbps bandwidth), 2x HDMI 2.1 (capabilities not listed) and 1x USB type-C (with DP Alt mode and 140W power delivery) provided. There are also 3x USB data ports and a headphone connection available, with the screen also featuring 2x 5W integrated speakers.
Pricing and availability
The screen has been launched in China at the equivalent of around $1500 USD. More news on availability and launches in other regions when we get it.
