Philips 34B2U5900C Specs

This is a 34” sized screen with a 1500R curvature and is built around a VA LCD technology panel. It offers a 5120 x 2160 resolution, 164 PPI pixel density, 2ms G2G response time spec, 21:9 aspect ratio, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 350 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit colour depth and an extended colour gamut covering 95% of the DCI-P3 and 122% of the sRGB colour spaces. It also offers a factory calibrated Delta E<2 accuracy too.
Adaptive-sync supports VRR gaming situations. HDR support is limited, with certification under the VESA DisplayHDR 400 tier and a peak brightness of 450 nits.

The screen comes certified with Calman Ready calibration which reduces the set-up time but not at the expense of colour accuracy which is maintained to high colour standards. Other features to aid productivity are the inclusion of MultiView technology which allows you to work with multiple devices simultaneously using PiP and PbP modes.
A number of features are included to minimise eye strain and fatigue including ‘SoftBlue’ and Flicker-free technologies, with the model being TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certified for its effectiveness in reducing blue light, and Eyesafe Certified 2.0 to protect you from the long exposure to blue light.

The stand comes with a range of tilt, height and swivel adjustments and features a built-in headphone hook for your convenience and to keep your set-up tidy. There is also a PowerSensor to detect when you are present to automatically reduce the brightness of the monitor when you step away, and a LightSensor which will adjust the picture brightness depending on the ambient light conditions in the room.
Connectivity

For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.1 and a number of USB data ports. In addition, it also includes a Smart KVM function if you need it for easy switching between source devices using the click of a button on your keyboard. There will also be a USB Type-C port (with DP Alt Mode and 140W power delivery), as well as a headphone jack, 2x 5W speakers and a Ethernet RJ45 connection.
