Philips Evnia 34M2C6500 Released with 34″ Ultrawide 175Hz QD-OLED Panel
Announced today is the new Philips Evnia 34M2C6500 gaming monitor, featuring a 34″ ultrawide, 21:9 aspect ratio QD-OLED panel. The screen has a subtle 1800R curvature, 3440 x 1440 resolution and a 175Hz refresh rate – utilising one of the first gen Samsung QD-OLED panels that has been adopted in many monitors released to market in the last few years. This new models from Philips includes their “Ambiglow” lighting, and not only can the lights change colours, but they can also follow audio and video content while you game; thereby making a completely personalised gaming experience.
Philips Evnia 34M2C6500 Specs and features
The screen is 34″ in size with an ultrawide format and an 1800R curvature. It has a 3440 x 1440 resolution, 0.03ms G2G response time, 1 million:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits brightness (SDR, 100% APL), 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering a very specific 99.3% DCi-P3, 148.8% sRGB and 97.8% Adobe RGB. The screen comes factory calibrated with a dE <2 listed.
The 175Hz native refresh rate of the panel is supported by adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates. The screen carries the VESA ‘DisplayHDR 400 True Black’ certification for HDR as well, with a variety of HDR preset modes available. A peak brightness of 1000 nits (3% APL) is also listed.
For connectivity the screen offers 1x DisplayPort 1.4 and 2x HDMI 2.0 video connections, along with a headphone output and 2x USB data ports. PiP and PbP are supported to handle multiple inputs. The stand includes tilt, height and swivel adjustments.
