Asus TUF Gaming VG32UQA1A (31.5″ 4K 160Hz) and VG27AQML1A (27″ 1440p 240Hz)
For CES 2023 Asus have today announced a couple of new gaming monitors in their TUF Gaming line-up. The VG32UQA1A is a 31.5″ model with 4K resolution and 160Hz refresh rate, while the VG27AQML1A is 27″ in size with a 1440p resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. Further details below.
Asus TUF Gaming VG32UQA1A Specs
This model is 31.5″ in size and features a 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution, combined with a fairly high 160Hz refresh rate (via an overclock)}. There is support for ELMB motion blur reduction mode, but seemingly not at the same time as VRR on this model, giving rise to a 1ms MPRT spec. The screen has adaptive-sync support for VRR from both NVIDIA and AMD systems, including AMD’s ‘FreeSync Premium’ certification. The only other spec listed at this time is a standard colour gamut with 99% sRGB coverage.
TUF Gaming VG32UQA1A offers rich connectivity options, including DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and USB hub.
Asus TUF Gaming VG27AQML1A Specs
This model is 27″ in size and features a 2560 x 1440 resolution Fast IPS panel, offering a high 240Hz refresh rate. There is a 1ms G2G response time spec, and the screen has adaptive-sync support for VRR from both NVIDIA and AMD systems, including AMD’s ‘FreeSync Premium’ certification. The screen also supports the company’s ‘ELMB-Sync’ technology, allowing simultaneous blur reduction mode with VRR. The only other spec listed at this time is a standard colour gamut with 99% sRGB coverage.
A ¼-inch tripod socket on top of the monitor stand allows users to mount a camera or additional display for a unique gaming or streaming setup. Lastly, TUF Gaming VG27AQML1A features DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and USB hub.
