AOC Gaming’s 240Hz Ultrawide and 310Hz Esports Displays Launched with Attractive Price Points

AOC have recently announced two new monitors in their G4 line-up, part of their ‘Gaming’ series., The AOC GAMING CU34G4Z is a 34″ ultrawide screen with a curved format and 240Hz refresh rate, while the AOC GAMING 25G4SXU is a smaller 24.5″ sized screen aimed at esports and offering a 310Hz maximum refresh rate. These new models deliver the high refresh rate advantage that competitive gamers demand, without the premium price tag typically associated with such performance.
AOC GAMING CU34G4Z Specs

The CU34G4Z is 34″ in size, with an ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio and a 1500R curvature. It’s built around a VA technology panel, with a 3440 x 1440 resolution, 1ms G2G response time, 0.3ms MPRT spec and 240Hz refresh rate. The CU34G4Z excels in multiple gaming scenarios: racing simulators benefit from the expanded peripheral vision and smooth motion at speed; strategy and MOBA games gain valuable screen real estate for battlefield awareness; content creators appreciate the workflow-friendly aspect ratio; and single-player adventures deliver a more cinematic, immersive experience.

This screen offers 1x DisplayPort 1.4 and 2x HDMI 2.1 connections, with the stand offering tilt, height and swivel adjustments. More info can be found on the product page here and it’s available to buy in various regions here (affiliate link).
AOC GAMING 25G4SXU Specs

The 25G4SXU delivers “tournament-grade performance” to the AOC GAMING range with its 24.5″ sized “Fast IPS” panel running at a blistering 300 Hz, with the overclocking option via the OSD up to 310 Hz at a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution. Featuring response times up to 1ms G2G and 0.3ms MPRT, this display provides the split-second visual clarity that can make the difference between victory and defeat in competitive play.
The screen is aimed at competitive gamers in fast-paced shooters like Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, and Overwatch, where every frame can be the difference between landing the perfect shot and missing entirely.

The monitor’s esports-inspired design includes a 130 mm height-adjustable stand with a low-profile, asymmetric base that maximises desk space and accommodates the angled keyboard setups preferred by many professional players. The stand is also capable of tilt and swivel adjustments as well as portrait (pivot) mode. Adaptive-Sync technology and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility ensures smooth, tear-free visuals, while the dedicated Low Input Lag mode delivers the immediate feedback essential for twitch reflexes in high-stakes competition.

Flicker-Free technology and Low Blue modes reduce eye strain during extended gaming sessions.
