HKC Shield 25Q360B Launched with a 24.5″ 1440p 360Hz Mini LED Display

HKC have recently announced their new Shield 25Q360B monitor, a 24.5″ sized gaming display offering a rare combination of specs and features in this size. The screen has a 2560 x 1440 resolution and 360Hz refresh rate, offering something beyond the typical 1080p resolutions on screens of this size. Not only that, but it has a 1,152-zone Mini LED backlight as well for high end HDR performance.
Other specs and features
In other specs the screen has a 1ms G2G response time spec, 550 nits SDR brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 98.5% DCI-P3. It is certified under the VESA DisplayHDR 1400 tier thanks to its Mini LED backlight, with a peak brightness spec of 1400 nits.

The monitor also supports HKC’s DIC 2.0 motion blur reduction system. It combines synchronized black frame insertion with control of the Mini LED backlight and offers three adjustment levels.
The stand supports height, swivel and tilt adjustments.

Connectivity
Connectivity includes 1x DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR 13.5), 2x HDMI 2.1 and 1x USB type-C (with DP Alt mode and 90W power delivery). 2x USB-A data ports and a KVM switch function are also offered.
Pricing and availability
HKC has launched the Shield 25Q360B in China so far with at 2,599 RMB. The current pre-order price is 1,999 RMB though, which is roughly $300 USD before taxes. Wider availability has not been announced yet.
