AOC AGON Pro AG276UZD Announced with a 27″ 4K 240Hz QD-OLED Panel and DisplayPort 2.1

AOC has launched a new gaming monitor in their AGON Pro line-up in China which delivers high end specifications at a highly competitive price. The AGON Pro AG276UZD offers a flat format, 27” sized screen, built around a Gen 3 Samsung Display QD-OLED panel, that offers a 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate, and a DisplayPort 2.1 connection. So, if you the want the premium features and high performance of a 4K 240Hz QD-OLED panel without the premium price, then this monitor is definitely worth considering.

AOC AGON Pro AG276UZD Specs

The screen is 26.5” in size (27” class) with a flat format and 16.9 aspect ratio. It offers a 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution, with a response time spec of 0.03ms G2G, a 240Hz refresh rate, 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits SDR brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, a native 10-bit colour depth and supports a wide colour gamut covering 99.3% of the DCI-P3 and 100% of the sRGB colour spaces.

The 240Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR. For HDR it is certified under the VESA ‘DisplayHDR 400 True Black’ tier and offers a peak brightness of 1000 nits (3% APL) for HDR.

Other features of the model are AOC’s G-menu software, Light FX RGB lighting, OLED Care, PiP/PbP and gaming features including Crosshairs, Shadow control, Frame Counter, Low Input Lag and various Game Modes. The stand offers tilt, height (up to 130mm), swivel and rotate adjustments.

Connectivity

For connectivity there is 1x DisplayPort 2.1 input with the maximum UHBR20 speeds, as well as 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 2 x USB Type-A data ports, 1x USB Type-C port with 65W power delivery and DP Alt mode, and a headphone jack for audio.

Pricing and availability

This monitor is currently only available in China at this time costing 7,499 yuan (approx. $1,040 USD), but we understand it will be available globally in the not too distant future and at an expected lower cost. We will provide further updates when we can.
