Gigabyte AORUS FO27Q3 with 27″ 360Hz QD-OLED Panel Officially Released
Originally showcased with minimal information at CES in January, Gigabyte have now released the full product page for their new AORUS FO27Q3 monitor. This is a 27″ OLED screen with a 360Hz refresh rate and built around a gen 3 Samsung QD-OLED panel. It’s a competing model to the Dell Alienware AW2725DF and MSI MPG 271QRX which we’ve reviewed recently. It offers an impressive gaming spec, along with a comprehensive feature set.
Gigabyte AORUS FO27Q3 Specs
The screen is 27″ in size with a flat format. It has a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 0.03ms G2G response time, 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits typical brightness (SDR, including at 100% APL), 178/178 viewing anglers, 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour space covering 99% DCI-P3.
This screen has a high 360Hz refresh rate which is supported by adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates (VRR) from compatible NVIDIA and AMD systems. It’s been certified under the AMD ‘FreeSync Premium Pro’ and VESA ‘ClearMR 13000’ schemes. For HDR the screen has been certified under the VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black tier, and also includes a peak brightness spec of 1000 nits (3% APL).
For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort 1.4 (with DSC), 2x HDMI 2.1 and 1x USB type-C (with DP Alt mode and 18W power delivery) available. There are also 2x USB ports, a headphone jack and a mic input. The screen also includes 2x 5W integrated speakers, a KVM switch function, PiP and PbP support and HDMI-CEC.

The FO27Q3 is available to pre-order on Newegg in the US at a price of $799.99 USD, with an expected release date of 30 April 2024. Further information on availability and pricing in other regions when we get it.
