Asus ProArt PA248CNV with 24″ 16:10 Aspect Ratio and Calman Verified Colours

Asus have unveiled a new model in their professional ProArt range of screens. We wouldn’t normally pay a massive amount of attention to small 24″ sized screens nowadays, but the new ProArt PA248CNV is a little different to most. It has a fairly rare 16:10 aspect ratio and 1920 x 1200 resolution that some people still really prefer to common 16:9 panels. This gives you a bit of additional vertical resolution which can enhance productivity and multi-tasking quite nicely. The screen is designed to satisfy the needs of creative professionals, from photo and video editing to graphic design.
We also recently published a round up of the Asus ProArt series that you might find interesting if you’re after a colour critical or professional use monitor.
Asus ProArt PA248CNV Specs

The PA248CNV is 24.1″ in size and has an IPS panel with a 1920x 1200 resolution. There is also a 5ms G2G rated response time, 75Hz refresh rate, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 nits brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit colour depth and a standard 100% sRGB colour gamut. Like other ProArt screens this model has a factory calibration with dE <2, and is “Calman Verified”. Read our recent ProArt article for more information about what this (and other) calibration means.
While not a gaming screen, and with a limited 75Hz refresh rate, adaptive-sync is supported for VRR from both NVIDIA and AMD systems if needed (48 – 75Hz VRR range).
Convenient Connectivity Options

There are a decent range of modern connectivity options and convenience features included here as well. This includes USB type-C (with DP Alt mode, data and 90W power delivery) for single cable connections where supported. DisplayPort input and DP output for daisy chaining is also available, along with 1x HDMI 1.4, a 4 port USB hub and even an RJ45 LAN port.
The stand provides a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments.
Free Adobe Creative Cloud subscription with all ProArt monitors

Adobe products are central to creative work in many industries. Asus has partnered with Adobe to empower creative workflows with the renowned Creative Cloud suite of apps and services. Every purchase of a ProArt monitor (and the projector discussed here) in selected regions includes a free three-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud (worth up to $238.47). This gives creators access to over 20 apps, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects, along with 100 GB of cloud storage.
The Creative Cloud subscription can be applied to a new or existing account and can be redeemed via the registration site. The redemption period ends November 15, 2022. For full details, visit https://www.asus.com/content/asus-offers-adobe-creative-cloud.
ProArt 5 Year Warranty Available in EMEA and UK

An additional benefit worth mentioning is that in EMEA and the UK, ProArt display buyers are eligible for a free warranty extension of 2 years, taking the warranty period from the default 3 years up to 5 years. You just need to register for it within 3 months of purchase at the following links where more information can also be found:
