LG Release Full Specs and Pricing for Their OLED G6 Series

Following on from our recent news piece about the C6 series, LG Electronics have also put the product page live now for their 2026 G6 series of OLED TV’s, with more detailed specs and information provided. The G6 series will be available in sizes of 55″, 65″, 77″, 83″ and 97″ with various updates to panel technology, brightness and performance. We’ll cover the key specs, updates for this year and pricing information below.

Key Specs for the LG G6 series
The key specs of the new series remain familiar to those who have followed their previous models over the years, with the screens offering:
- 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution
- WOLED technology panel (most models use Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 WOLED – see below)
- 165Hz Refresh Rate, NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium and 0.1ms response time spec
- Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos & FILMMAKER MODE support with Ambient Light Technology
- 4x HDMI 2.1 connections (one with eARC sound), 1x SPDIF, 3x USB ports
2026 updates and improvements for the G6 series

The C6 series includes the following notable updates:
- “Perfect Black” and “Perfect Color” technologies for improved picture quality
- Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3 LG’s most powerful Dual AI Engine for the ultimate picture and speed – offering according to LG: 5.6x Greater AI Neural Processing, 50% Faster Operation, and 70% Improved Graphics
- Powered by Google Gemini & Microsoft Copilot, LG’s Smart TV platform, webOS 2026, delivers a smarter TV experience
- Brightness Booster Ultra powers LG’s Brightest OLED ever up to 3.9x brighter (except for 97″ model), including peak brightness of up to 4500 nits
- Hyper Radiant Color Tech (except for 97″ model)
Tandem WOLED panels for the first time, on some sizes
We have confirmed with LG that the 55 – 83″ sized screens will all utilised the latest Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 panels this year, offering up to 4500 nits peak brightness (which is 3.9x higher than the B6 model). This will be enabled by the newly updated panel technology, along with what LG Electronics call ‘Brightness Booster Ultra’.

These 55 – 83″ sized models will also be branded with their new ‘Hyper Radiant Color‘ technology, a marketing brand name which encompasses various features including the Tandem 2.0 panels, brightness booster tech, reflection free finish and their latest Alpha 11 Gen 3 AI Processor. The ‘Reflection Free Premium‘ coating promoted by panel manufacturer LG Display will also feature on these new Tandem WOLED 2.0 panels, which they say offers the world’s lowest reflectance of 0.3% across consumer TV products.
