LG Electronics have put the product page live now for their 2026 C6 series of OLED TV’s, with more detailed specs and information provided. The C6 series will continue to be available in sizes of 42″, 48″, 55″, 65″, 77″ and 83″, with the smallest 42″ offering a popular option for those who want a hybrid desktop monitor and TV. We’ll cover the key specs, updates for this year and pricing information below.

Key Specs for the LG C6 series

The key specs of the new series remain familiar to those who have followed their previous models over the years, with the screens offering:

  • 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution
  • WOLED technology panel (some models use Tandem WOLED – see below)
  • 165Hz Refresh Rate, NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium and 0.1ms response time spec
  • Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos & FILMMAKER MODE support with Ambient Light Technology
  • 4x HDMI 2.1 connections (one with eARC sound), 1x headphone, 1x SPDIF, 2x USB ports

2026 updates and improvements for the C6 series

The C6 series includes the following notable updates:

  • “Perfect Black” and “Perfect Color” technologies for improved picture quality
  • Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3 LG’s most powerful Dual AI Engine for the ultimate picture and speed – offering according to LG: 5.6x Greater AI Neural Processing, 50% Faster Operation, and 70% Improved Graphics
  • Powered by Google Gemini & Microsoft Copilot, LG’s Smart TV platform, webOS 2026, delivers a smarter TV experience
  • Brightness Booster technology (Pro on 77″ and 83″ models, Standard on 48″, 55″, 65″ models, not included on the 42″ model though at all)
  • Hyper Radiant Color Tech (77″ and 83″ models only – see below)

Tandem WOLED panels for the first time, on some sizes

The C-series will also be receiving an update to their panels this year, offering Tandem WOLED for the first time, but only in two of the available screen size. Only the largest 77″ and 83″ models will receive a Tandem WOLED panel though, using the latest Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 tech in fact we are told by LG. Those models will be designated as the 77C6H and 83C6H, with the ‘H’ distinguishing them from the other C6 models.

The C6 series won’t be quite as bright as the G6 series though, featuring ‘Brightness Booster Pro’ instead of ‘Ultra’ and offering 3.2x the luminance of the B6 series – so that should be around 3700 nits by our calculations. They’ll be marketed with the same ‘Hyper Radiant Color’ branding as the G6 series models too and feature ‘Reflection Free Premium’ coating.

The smaller 48″, 55″ and 65″ C6 series models will not use Tandem WOLED panels unfortunately, and will feature ‘Brightness Booster Standard’. Peak brightness specs are still TBC and are not listed on the product pages unfortunately.
