Asus ROG Swift PG279QM with 27″ 1440p Panel, 240Hz and NVIDIA G-sync with Reflex Analyzer

We only had very limited information about this screen when it was first announced back in January, but the official product page has now appeared for the Asus ROG Swift PG279QM. The PG279QM is a 27″ gaming monitor with a Fast IPS panel, 2560 x 1440 resolution and 240Hz refresh rate combined. It also includes Native G-sync with the hardware module being used to support variable refresh rates (VRR), and even includes NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer built in.

PG279QM Specs
Spec wise the 27″ Fast IPS panel offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 1ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness (400 cd/m2 peak for HDR), 178/178 viewing angles, 16.7m colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 97% DCI-P3 (150% sRGB relative coverage).
240Hz Refresh Rate, Native G-sync and Reflex Analyzer
The 240Hz native refresh rate is supported by a Native G-sync hardware module offering great VRR reliability, range and other benefits such as variable overdrive and super-low input lag.

NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer, built into PG279QM, captures end-to-end system latency and delivers a precise measure of your PC’s performance. Step confidently into battle knowing your PC is performing at peak level with GeForce RTX GPUs and PG279QM and Charkram Core. A further range of gaming add ons and options are included with the screen as well, detailed on the Asus website.

Other Features and Connectivity
The PG279QM also includes a factory calibration with dE <2 quoted. For connectivity there is 1x DisplayPort 1.4 and 3x HDMI 2.0 offered (no HDMI 2.1 as it’s currently limited by the G-sync module). There are also 2x 2W speakers built in and a headphone jack is provided. The stand offers tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments.
