AOC AGON PRO AG276QKD Announced with 27″ 1440p 480Hz OLED Panel
AOC have recently unveiled their forthcoming AOC AGON Pro AG276QKD monitor, a 27″ sized screen which offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution and 480Hz refresh rate combined. It’s built around an LG.Display WOLED panel, and offers an alternative to the models already announced from other manufacturers so far including the Asus ROG Swift PG27AQDP which we reviewed recently.
AOC AGON PRO AG276QKD Specs
The new monitor is 27″ in size (accurately 26.5″) and has a flat format LG.Display WOLED panel. This is one of their latest WOLED panels which includes the updated RGWB sub-pixel layout for improved text clarity. This will include the standard matte anti-glare screen coating by the way.
The monitor offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 0.03ms G2G response time, 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio, 275 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 98.5% DCI-P3. The very high 480Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible systems.
For HDR the screen conforms to the VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black tier, and offers a 1300 nits peak brightness (listed at 1.5% APL), or 450 nits at 25% APL and 275 nits at 100% APL.
For connectivity there are 2x DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC (why not DP 2.1? – see here) and 2x HDMI 2.1 ports offered along with 2x USB data ports and a headphone jack. PiP and PbP modes are supported for handling multiple inputs. The stand offers tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments and the screen also includes some moderate 2x 5W integrated speakers.
Pricing and availability
The screen is listed on AOC’s China website at the moment but has not yet appeared in Europe or N America. More info when we get it. For a recent round-up of AOC’s OLED monitor range, with options and sizes to suit a wide range of user needs, check out our article here.
