ViewSonic XG273F-2K-OLED Lands with 27″ 540Hz WOLED Panel and Dual-Mode 720Hz

ViewSonic have launched the XG273F-2K-OLED, a 27” screen built around a WOLED panel from LG Display featuring a 2560 x 1440 (1440p) resolution and a native 540Hz refresh rate. It also boasts a dual-mode function allowing you to reach a super-high 720Hz when dropping to a lower 720p/HD resolution. They join the likes of Asus (reviewed) and Acer, making use of the fastest OLED gaming panel currently available.
ViewSonic XG273F-2K-OLED Specs

This is a 27” sized screen (26.5” accurate) with a flat format and utilises LG Display’s latest 4th-gen Primary RGB Tandem WOLED panel. It is described on ViewSonic’s product page as being a ‘Mirror’ WOLED panel which we believe means it has a glossy coating, which is also mentioned in the spec table.
Other specs include a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 110 PPI pixel density, 0.02ms G2G response time spec, 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio, 335 nits brightness (SDR), 1500 nits peak brightness (HDR at 1.5% APL), 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 99.5% of the DCI-P3 colour space.

The super-fast 540Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates from compatible systems. Other gaming features include Advanced DCR, Black Stabilisation, Cat Eye Mode, Crosshair, Eagle Eye Mode, and Night Vision Mode. It is also certified under the VESA ClearMR 21000 tier.
The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments, and boasts a unique white rear shell which also includes gaming ambient lighting for a truly immersive experience.

There are also a number of OLED protection technologies included to mitigate the risk of burn-in such as Image Clean-up, Screen Movement, Screen Uniformity, brightness and Static Icon Detection.
Connectivity

For connectivity there are 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 2x DisplayPort 1.4 connections, 1x USB Type-A port and a headphone jack. It also offers PiP/PbP support for handling multiple devices. This means it lacks the DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20) connections on offer from Asus’ equivalent model unfortunately.
Availability and pricing
To date this screen has only appeared in China and details about pricing and a global launch are awaited.
