Asus ROG Swift PG27AQWP-W Announced with a 540Hz / 720Hz 4th Gen WOLED Panel and True Black Glossy Coating

Announced today at Asus’ Gamescom 2025 event was the new ROG Swift PG27AQWP-W gaming OLED monitor, offering an amazing spec and loads of new, top-end features. We had a teaser about this back at Computex in May, but this is the World’s first 540Hz refresh rate OLED monitor, featuring a new 4th Gen Primary RGB Tandem WOLED panel from LG.Display.

It’s 27″ in size with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and the new panel promises the fastest refresh rates currently available from any OLED monitor, including support for a dual mode function which pushes the refresh rate up to 720Hz (at HD resolution, 720p)!

The new panel also offers improved brightness, colours and black depth compared to previous Gen WOLED panels and so is a really exciting development in the OLED space. Not only does it feature that new 540Hz panel, but Asus have also utilised recently launched ‘True Black’ glossy panel coating, offering a super clear and sharp image, amazing image quality and amazing blacks in all lighting conditions. A killer combination that many people are surely going to love!

The screen also has a brand new aesthetic design with a new stand, silver finish, a transparent rear enclosure and updated lighting features in a blue colour.
