The AM273QP AI 1UM has a focus (as the name suggests) on incorporating AI benefits with various technologies to make work faster, while also saving on power. We don’t want to get in to too many details about the PC spec side of things, that’s not really our bag, but you can find loads more information on MSI’s website here. There’s a range of processor specs to choose from on the PC side of things and the system is available in a black or white finish. We will have a look at what the display offers a bit more here.
Display Specs and features
The display side of things offers a 27″ IPS technology panel with a 2560 x 1440 resolution. It also has a boosted 100Hz refresh rate for a smoother experience compared with 60Hz-only screens, even in office applications.
The screen features MSI’s Anti-flicker backlight, their ‘Less Blue Light Pro’ technology and an anti-glare coating for a comfortable viewing experience. Additionally their ‘Eye-Q Check’ features and tests allows you to self-assess your eye health while working long hours, preventing eye problems from escalating.
The stand offers tilt, swivel and height adjustments. An integrated Windows Hello compatible FHD webcam is also featured along with 2x 3W speakers to make video conferencing simple.
Connectivity is extensive with 1x HDMI input, 2x HDMI output, 5x total USB data ports, a 2.5G RJ45 LAN port, 1x USB type-C (with DP Alt mode input), an SD card reader, a mic input/headphone output jack and 2x Thunderbolt 4 connections.
With HDMI-out and Thunderbolt 4, you can support up to 4 displays, boosting productivity by offering more screen space to manage multiple applications simultaneously. With MSI Instant Display Technology, the screen powers on instantly when devices are connected, allowing it to function as a monitor without needing to boot up.
Enhanced AI Experience
According to MSI, “the Modern AM273QP AI Series with dedicated AI chip, improves the performance of generative AI, enhancing your AI experience and boosting your work efficiency.” The latest Intel Core Ultra processor features Intel’s first integrated NPU, designed for efficient AI workloads and lower power consumption. reportedly being up to 50% Faster for Photo Editing and up to 65% Faster for Photo Generation.
MSI AI Engine automatically detects user scenarios and adjusts performance, sound effects, and display mode accordingly, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. Microsoft’s AI CoPilot tool is also on offer from the Windows 11 Home OS.
