MSI MAG 274UPDF E16M announced with a 27” 4K 160Hz IPS panel and Mini LED Backlight

MSI have announced a new gaming monitor in their MAG series. The MSI MAG 274UPDF E16M features a 27” Rapid IPS display, with a 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution and 160Hz refresh rate. It also features a 1152-zone Mini LED backlight for high-end HDR support and high brightness.

The screen is 27” in size with a flat format and16:9 aspect ratio. It’s built around a Rapid IPS technology panel and offers a 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution, 0.5ms G2G response time spec, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit+FRC colour depth and supports a wide colour gamut covering 98% DCI-P3 and 100% Adobe RGB colour spaces and offers Delta E<2 accuracy. The Anti-Flicker and “Less Blue Light” technologies ensure a more comfortable viewing experience.
Dual-mode function

It has a 160Hz native refresh rate which is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible systems. A dual mode function allows you to double your refresh rate to 320Hz if you would rather, while dropping your resolution to FHD 1920 x1080. A 5-way Joystick Navigator on the right side of the screen and a one-click switch button makes it easier to switch between modes.
Other gaming features include AI Navigator, AI Dual Mode, AI Crosshair and AI Vision.
1152-zone Mini LED backlight
The 1152 dimming zone Mini LED backlight and Quantum Dot technology offers high end HDR capabilities with excellent local dimming, as well as certification under the VESA DisplayHDR 1000 tier and a peak brightness spec of 1000 nits.

Connectivity
For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort 1.4a, 2x HDMI 2.1 connections, 1x USB Type-C upstream port (with 15W power delivery and DP Alt Mode), along with a headphone jack.
The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments
