LG 45GX900A Launched with a 45″ Ultrawide 240Hz OLED Panel

LG have unveiled a further monitor in their UltraGear GX9 gaming series. The LG 45GX900A boasts a large format 45″ Ultrawide screen with a 800R curvature, built around a 3440 x 1440 resolution WOLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate.
LG 45GX900A Specs

The screen is 45″ in size (44.5″ accurately) with a 21:9 aspect ratio, which is 34% wider than standard 16:9 screens. It features a steep 800R curvature LG.Display WOLED panel and offers a 3440 x 1440 resolution, 0.03ms G2G response time spec, 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio, 275 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 98.5% of the DCI-P3 colour space.

The 240Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible systems, including certification under the AMD ‘FreeSync Premium’, NVIDIA ‘G-sync Compatible’ and VESA ‘AdaptiveSync’ schemes. For HDR it is certified under the VESA ‘DisplayHDR 400 True Black’ tier and offers a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The panel uses MLA+ (Micro lens Array) to reach these brightness levels, as opposed to being a 4th Gen panel. Those are not yet produced in this size and format.
Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light technologies combined with an anti-glare surface provides a more comfortable viewing experience.
Gaming features include FPS Counter, Dynamic Action Sync, Black Stabiliser, Crosshair and Low Latency mode.
We should also mention the LG Switch app function which converts your screen into a hub for work, gaming and streaming. It also allows you to customise various settings such as image quality and brightness, then apply these settings with a hotkey depending on what’s on the screen.

The stand offers tilt, height and swivel adjustments, and features RGB hexagonal backlighting, and the screen comes with a 3-year warranty.
Connectivity
For connectivity there are 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 1x DisplayPort 1.4 input, 1x USB Type-C Port with DP Alt Mode and 65W power delivery. There is also a DTS sound headphone jack and dual stereo speakers.
