Iiyama Unveil the Improved G-Master G4380UHSU-B2 43″ 4K Gaming Monitor

Iiyama have updated their G-Master Red Eagle G4380UHSU model which now features upgraded connectivity with HDMI 2.1 and new USB Type-C ports data ports. This is an upgrade to their B1 model which was released in 2022 and is expected to be released this month.

Iiyama Red Eagle G4380UHSU-B2 Specs
The Red Eagle G4380UHSU-B2 is a large format 43” sized screen (42.5” accurately) and is built around a flat VA panel. It offers a “4K” 3840 x 2160 resolution, 0.3ms MPRT response time spec, 4000:1 contrast ratio, 178/178 viewing angles, 550 nits brightness (SDR) an 8-bit +FRC colour depth and an extended colour gamut quoted with an 85% NTSC coverage.

The panels 144Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates from compatible systems and includes certification under the AMD ‘FreeSync Premium’ scheme. The screen incorporates flicker free and blue light reducer technologies, with the stand allowing tilt adjustments only.

As with all G-Master models there is a Black Tuner feature which allows the user to adjust the brightness and the dark shades, thus providing better visibility in shadowed areas, ensuring that nothing gets missed on the screen.
Connectivity
There has been a marked improvement in the connectivity options which now boast 2x HDMI 2.1 connections and 2x DisplayPort 1.4 inputs. The screen also offers 2x USB Type-A v 3.2 and 2x USB Type-C (5Gbps, 7.5W) data ports, and a headphone jack. There are also 2x 7W speakers built in to the screen for audio.

Availability and Pricing
The G4380UHSU-B2 will be available during September at an anticipated retail price of £449.99 GBP.
