Showcased at Computex 2025 this week was a refreshed and updated version of Asus’ popular ROG Swift PG32UCDM monitor. The ROG Swift PG32UCDMR (with an R on the end now) offers the same 32″ 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution QD-OLED panel as its predecessor, with a 240Hz refresh rate and the same underlying panel. Asus have however updated it to bring in 3 key new features.

Updated features

Asus have updated their previous PG32UCDM to bring in 3 key new features on the PG32UCDMR model:

  1. DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity is now added with full-speed UHBR20 and 80Gbps
  2. Their Neo Proximity Sensor has been added, which detects human motion and usage, and turns the screen to black when you move away from the screen, turning it back on when you return
  3. Their OLED Care Pro feature set has now been included

Asus ROG Swift PG32UCDMR Specs

The other specs are basically the same as the older model so we won’t repeat all of those here. You can check out our full review of the PG32UCDM here to give you an idea about performance, options and configuration. Note that the spec card shown here refers to an “anti-reflection” software coating, but that is just the standard QD-OLED semi-glossy coating with AR treatment, there’s nothing new or changed there.

Pricing and availability

The ROG Swift PG32UCDMR will be released in Q3 we were told, at a price of $1,299 USD. You can but the current PG32UCDM here, which may of course come down in price as this new model is released.
