AOC Expand Their G4 series with 3 Further Models – the 34″ CU34G4, 24” 24G4HA and 27” 27G4HA

Following on from our recent news piece reporting on the launch of the 27″ AOC Gaming U27G4R monitor, we have information now about 3 further models launched by AOC in their Gaming G4 series of monitors.
AOC GAMING CU34G4
Up first is the AOC GAMING CU34G4 which features a 34” Ultrawide screen size with a curved format. It is built around a ‘Fast VA’ panel, with a 3440 x 1440 resolution, 1500R curvature and 180Hz refresh rate. It is a cheaper alternative to the CU34G4Z launched back in April this year.

In other specs the panel has a 21:9 ultrawide aspect ratio, a 109 PPI pixel density, 1ms G2G response time spec (0.5ms MPRT spec), 2500:1 contrast ratio, 300 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, a 10-bit colour depth with 16.7 millions colours and an extended colour gamut covering 120.9% sRGB and 92.3% of the DCI-P3 colour spaces.
The 180Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates from compatible systems and has been certified under the AMD ‘FreeSync Premium’ scheme. Other gaming features include their G-Menu software, Game Colour, Shadow Control, Motion Blur Reduction, Crosshair/Dial Point and Frame Counter. It also includes PiP/PbP support, and has Anti-Blue Light technology and Flicker-Free certification for comfortable viewing.


The stand offers tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments, and for connectivity there are 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, 1x Display Port 1.4 and 1 x headphone jack.
AOC GAMING 24G4HA and AOC GAMING 27G4HA
The 24G4HA and 27G4HA are 23.8” (24” class) and 27” respectively and are built around ‘Fast IPS’ technology panels, offering a 1920 x 1080 resolution and 200Hz refresh rate. These are upgraded versions of the previous 24G4X and 27G4X but with a higher refresh rate.


In other specs they offer 1ms G2G response time spec (0.5 MPRT spec), 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles and an extended colour gamut covering 120.4% sRGB and 94.1% DCI-P3 (24G4HA) and 115.4% sRGB and 91.9% DCI-P3 (27G4HA) colour spaces.
Both models offer a 200Hz refresh rate which is supported by adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates, including certification under the NVIDIA ‘G-sync Compatible’ scheme.
The stand offers tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments For connectivity both screens have 2x HDMI 2.0, 1x DisplayPort 1.4 and a headphone jack.


Pricing and availability
The 24G4HA and 27G4HA (affiliate links) are available from Amazon for £169 GBP and £189 GBP in the UK. The CU34G4 is also expected to be released in May at an MSRP of £289.
