Acer Predator X27 X Announced with 27″ 4K QD-OLED Panel and 240Hz

Ready to be showcased next week at Computex 2025 in Taiwan, Acer have today announced their new Predator X27 X monitor. It’s a 27″ QD-OLED screen with a 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate, following on from models from Asus and MSI that we’ve reviewed in recent months. It offers a high pixel density of ~166 PPI for a sharp and detailed image.
Acer Predator X27 X Specs
The screen is 26.5″ in size (27″ class) and built around a 4th Generation 2025 Samsung Display QD-OLED panel, with a flat format. It’s got a 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution, ~166 PPI pixel density, 0.03ms G2G response time, 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, a 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 99% DCI-P3.
The 240Hz native refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible systems with certification under the AMD ‘FreeSync Premium Pro’ tier achieved. For HDR it is certified under the VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black tier and includes a 1000 nits peak brightness spec.

For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort 1.4 (with DSC) and 2x HDMI 2.1 connections. There’s also an audio output available. The screen also features basic integrated 2x 2W speakers and the stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments.
Pricing and Availability
The Predator X27 X monitor will be available in EMEA in Q3 around September time, starting at EUR 1,099, £999.99 GBP in the UK, and in China in Q3, starting at RMB 5,999. Pricing and availability for North America will be provided closer to market availability we are told in Q3.
