ViewSonic VX2766-2K-PRO-8 Unveiled with 27″ QHD 340Hz Fast IPS Panel

ViewSonic have introduced a further esports focussed gaming monitor in their gaming series. Like the previous models in the series the VS2766-2K-PRO-8 features a 27” sized ‘Fast IPS’ panel and 1440p resolution. The main difference comes in the refresh rate which is 340Hz (overclocked) and is the second highest refresh rate in the line-up behind the Pro-4 model which offers an ever higher 425Hz.
ViewSonic VX2766-2K-PRO-8 Specs

This 27” sized flat screen is built around a ‘Fast IPS’ LCD technology panel. In addition, it offers a QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, 109 PPI pixel density, 1ms G2G response time spec, 1300:1 contrast ratio, 450 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, 10 bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 100% of the sRGB and 98% of the DCI-P3 colour spaces.
The native 320Hz refresh rate (340Hz overclocked) is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible systems and offers AMD ‘FreeSync’ and NVIDIA ‘G-sync’ compatibility. It supports HDR10 content but has limited HDR hardware capabilities, and has a peak brightness of 500 nits.
Other features include Advanced DCR, Black Stablisation, Crosshair, Colour Adjust, EcoMode, ViewMode, Overscan, Gaming Ambient Lighting and RGB LED lighting on the back. Low Blue Light and Flicker-free technologies are included for a more comfortable viewing experience.

The stand has limited functionality, with only tilt adjustment available.
