ViewSonic VX2766-2K-PRO-4 Revealed with a 27″ IPS Panel, 1440p Resolution and 425Hz Refresh

ViewSonic have recently announced a new monitor in their ever-growing range of esports focussed gaming monitors. The ViewSonic VX2766-2K-PRO-4 is a 27” Fast “Ultrafast IPS” panel with a QHD 2560 x 1440 resolution and a high 425Hz refresh rate.

The screen is 27” in size built around an “UltraFast IPS” panel, with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 109 PPI pixel density, 1ms G2G response time spec, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 178/178 viewing angles, 450 nits brightness (SDR), 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 100% of the sRGB, 97% of the Adobe RGB and 97% of the DCI-P3 colour spaces.
The 425Hz refresh rate (overclocked) is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible systems, including certification under the AMD ‘FreeSync Premium’ and NVIDIA ‘G-sync Compatible’ schemes. It supports HDR10 content only and has a peak brightness of 500 nits.
Other features include Advanced DCR, Black Stabilisation, Colour Adjust, Eco Mode, Flicker-free technology, Low Blue Light, Overscan, ViewMode, “G” e-sports atmosphere light, Hawkeye game mode, Cat’s eye game mode and Night Vision game mode.

The stand has limited functionality, with tilt adjustments available only.
Connectivity
For connectivity the options include 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 1x DisplayPort 1.4 input and a headphone jack. The screen also includes PiP/PbP support for handling multiple video inputs
