ViewSonic Launch the Large Format VX4381U-4K with a 43” 4K VA Panel
ViewsSonic have unveiled a new screen in their versatile VX line-up. The VX4381U-4K offers a large format 43” display with a ‘SuperClear MVA’ (VA type) LCD panel featuring a 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. It also features the ability of quad-screen multi-tasking where you can display up to four independent video inputs simultaneously using PiP and PbP modes.
ViewSonic VX4381U-4K Specs
The screen is 43” in size (42.5” accurately) with a flat format and built around a ‘SuperClear MVA’ (VA type) LCD technology panel. It features a 3840 x 2160 resolution, 103 PPI pixel density, 3ms G2G response time spec, 4000:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits brightness, 178/178 viewing angles and a 10-bit colour depth. HDR10 content is also supported to maximise the colour depth and contrast on your display although there are limited HDR hardware capabilities.
One of the key features of this screen is its quad-screen multi-tasking capabilities where you can display up to four video sources at the same time. This would be the equivalent of having 4x 22″ screens operating at once making this potentially useful for multi-tasking and multiple workflows.
Stand adjustments are very limited on this screen with tilt adjustments available only, but the screen does include flicker-free technology and a Blue Light filter to help reduce eyestrain, and comes with a 3-year warranty.
Connectivity
For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.1 and 1x USB Type-C (with 65W power delivery). In addition, there are also 4x USB Type-A data ports, a headphone jack and for audio the screen also includes 2x 7W integrated speakers.
