Titan Army Unveil Their 27″ 4K Dual-Mode Mini LED P275MV-A Monitor

Titan Army, one of the lesser known monitor brands, has recently unveiled their new P275MV-A monitor which looks like an interesting addition to their line-up. It’s a 27″ sized LCD screen featuring a 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution and 144Hz refresh rate along with a dual-mode function that allows you to double the refresh rate to 288Hz if you drop the resolution to 1080p for certain faster-paced gaming situations. It also features a 1,152-zone Mini LED backlight for high end HDR performance and capabilities with >1000 nits peak brightness and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification.

Titan Army P275MV-A Specs
The screen is 27″ in size and offers a 3840 x 2160 “4K” native resolution IPS-type LCD panel. It has a 1ms MPRT response time, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit+FRC colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 99% of the sRGB, DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB colour spaces thanks to the use of a Quantum Dot coating.
Adaptive-sync supports VRR situations for gaming and a ‘Dynamic Display’ (DyDs) mode helps reduce motion blur which looks like it will be a strobing blur reduction backlight option, giving rise to the 1ms MPRT spec quoted.

For connectivity there are 2x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.1 and 1x headphone connection available. PiP and PbP modes are supported as well for handling multiple video inputs. The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments.
Pricing and availability
The screen is priced at around $450 USD (64,800 yen, including taxes), although availability in key regions is still to be confirmed it seems.
