MSI MAG 275UPD E14 Announced with a 27″ 4K 144Hz Rapid IPS Panel and Dual-Support Mode

MSI have revealed details of a further gaming monitor in their MAG product line. The MSI MAG 275UPD E14 features a 27” sized ‘Rapid’ IPS panel with a “4K” 3840 x 2160 resolution, a 144Hz native refresh rate and support for dual-mode technology. This technology allows users to easily switch to a lower FHD 1080p resolution whilst boosting the refresh rate to 288Hz, depending on their gaming requirements.

The screen is 27” in size with a flat format. It’s built around a ‘Rapid’ IPS panel and offers a 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution, 163 PPI pixel density, 4ms G2G response time spec (and 1ms MPRT spec for the motion blur reduction mode), 1500:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit colour depth and supports an extended colour gamut covering 90% of the DCI-P3, 130% of the sRGB and 84% of the Adobe RGB colour spaces.

Its 144Hz/288Hz refresh rates are supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible systems. As with any MAG product there are an array of gaming features included such as AI Vision, AI Crosshair, AI Dual Mode, AI Navigator, Console Mode and Optix Scope.
The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments.

Connectivity
For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort 1.4 input, 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 1x headphone jack and offers PiP/PbP support for handling multiple video inputs.
Availability and pricing
At the time of writing this product has only been launched in the Chinese market, but we will keep our ears open for any future plans to expand into other regions.
