ViewSonic Launch XG273-4K-OLED with 4K Resolution and 240Hz Refresh Rate

ViewSonic have launched their new XG273-4K-OLED monitor in China, aimed at gamers seeking a competitive edge. It features a 26.5” sized screen (27″ class) built around a QD-OLED panel from Samsung Display, with a 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. It also has two listed DisplayPort 2.1 connections and comes with a limited edition unique ViewSonic bird figurine in the box…if that’s something important to you.
ViewSonic XG273-4K-OLED Specs

The screen is 26.5” in size (27″ class) with a flat format QD-OLED panel from Samsung Display. It has a 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution, ~166 PPI pixel density, 0.03ms G2G response time spec, 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio, 250 nits brightness (SDR), 1000 nits peak brightness (HDR), 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 99% of the DCI-P3, 98% of the Adobe RGB and 100% of the sRGB colour spaces.
The 240Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible systems. It is also VESA ClearMR 13000 certified for motion clarity performance. Other gaming features include Night Vision mode, Eagle Eye mode and Cat Eye mode. We have no idea what those latter two modes actually are!

The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments. The design features an all-black front and an all-white rear, with RGB backlighting. It is also equipped with an aluminium heatsink and graphene film sheet panel for a fan-less design, to ensure the monitor remains cool and durable.

Connectivity
For connectivity there are 2x DisplayPort 2.1 (although UHBR tier is not listed) and 2x HDMI 2.1 inputs. It also has 1x USB type-C port (with DP Alt mode and 100W power delivery), 1x headphone jack and PiP/PbP support for handling multiple video inputs. It also has integrated 2 x 3W speakers.

Pricing and availability
ViewSonic have launched their new XG273-4K-OLED monitor in the Chinese market so far, but hopefully it will also be released in North America and Europe at some point in the future. Further details as and when we know more.
