MSI MAG 275QPF X30 Announced with a 27″ 300Hz Refresh Rate IPS Panel

If you are a gamer who prioritises lightning-fast refresh rates over ultra-high resolutions then look no further than MSI’s new MAG 275QPF X30 gaming monitor which could be the monitor for you. This is a flat format, 27” sized screen, built around a QHD ‘Rapid IPS’ panel that offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution and a 300Hz combined, offering high refresh rates and improved motion clarity for gaming.

The screen is 27” in size, with a flat format and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 0.5ms G2G response time spec, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits SDR brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit colour depth and supports a wide colour gamut covering 95% of the DCI-P3, 89% of the Adobe RGB and 130% of the sRGB colour space.

It has a 300Hz refresh rate which is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible systems. At the time of writing it hasn’t been certified under either the AMD ‘FreeSync’ or NVIDIA ‘G-sync Compatible’ schemes. It supports AI vision and Smart Crosshair features for gamers too.

The panel is also equipped with Anti-Flicker and Low Blue Light technologies to provide a comfortable viewing experience. The stand offers tilt, height (up to 130mm), swivel and rotate adjustments.

Connectivity

For connectivity the screen offers 2x HDMI 2.1 connections, 1x DisplayPort 1.4a and a standard audio jack for headphone connections.
