LG 40WP95C with Curved 40″ IPS Panel and 5K2K Resolution Announced

LG have announced at CES 2021 their new 40WP95C display. This is a 39.7″ sized (40″ basically) monitor with a curved format and 5K2K (5120 x 2160) resolution IPS panel. This follows on from the recently announced Dell U4021QW with similar specs and the same panel. Little information is available in the press release at the moment other than it has a 3-side borderless design and that there are DisplayPort, HDMI and USB ports for connectivity. There are also integrated stereo speakers. More information when we get it. Some pictures from the press release are included.

Update 13/1/21 – some further specs have been provided courtesy of an update at FlatpanelsHD. Nano IPS panel with 98% DCI-P3 coverage. 72Hz refresh rate support, 5ms G2G response time, adaptive sync to support FreeSync/G-sync VRR. Thunderbolt 4 connectivity is also listed although oddly not included in the highlights from LG before.
