Dell S2421HGF Gaming Display with 23.8″ TN Film Panel and 144Hz Refresh Rate

Dell have recently launched their new S2421HGF gaming display. This is a 23.8″ sized TN Film technology screen offering a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. This is supported by adaptive-sync allowing for VRR support from AMD (FreeSync Premium certified) and NVIDIA systems.

Dell talk on their website about the 3-side borderless panel design as well as “unique vents located in the back keep everything cool while working hard.” There is also a “newly designed tapered stand (which) is slim and sleek, with a small footprint that brings you closer to the action.” This stand offers tilt and height adjustments.

Spec wise there is a 1ms G2G response time (in Extreme overdrive mode), 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 170/160 viewing angles, and a standard sRGB gamut.

Three user-defined profiles give even more personalization options. The Timer, FPS Counter and Dark Stabilizer let you manage everything from frame rates to brightness to shadow control. Connectivity wise there are 1x DisplayPort 1.2a and 2x HDMI 1.4 offered along with a headphone jack.
