Dell Announce the UltraSharp U3226Q, a 32” 4K QD-OLED Monitor Aimed at Creative Professionals

Dell have announced today their new UltraSharp U3226Q monitor, which will be showcased at CES 2026 this week. It’s a 32” QD-OLED monitor which Dell promote as the “World’s first commercial DisplayHDR 500 True Black AGLR QD-OLED monitor.” This may not be true, with Samsung Electronics also announcing their own 2026 line-up recently which includes a model with the same panel, and their own AGLR (Anti-glare, low reflection) coating, but it looks like Dell are keen to adopt this approach to panel coating as well this year with their new screen. The screen is aimed at creative professionals in media, entertainment and design and has a focus on colour accuracy and user comfort.

Dell UltraSharp U3226Q specs

The screen is 31.5” in size (32” class) and has a flat format. It’s built around a 4^th Gen Samsung Display QD-OLED panel (featuring their latest EL 3.0 material) and offers a 3840 x 2160 resolution, 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio, a 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 99% DCI-P3, 94% Adobe RGB, 80% Rec.2020 and 100% sRGB.

It has a 120Hz refresh rate, so quite a lot lower than mainstream QD-OLED monitors of this size which are typically 240Hz. Both HDR 10 and Dolby Vision HDR formats are supported and the screen comes certified under the VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black tier, which includes requirements for 500 nits at 10% APL and 300 nits at 100% APL. A peak brightness spec isn’t listed but we’d assume this to be 1000 nits.

Dell have added their own anti-glare coating to the screen to help reduce reflections and glare, making it more suited to brighter office environments and daytime usage than the standard semi-glossy QD-OLED coating. We look forward to seeing this in person at CES to see how it performs, and whether or not it adds any grain to the image like some AG coatings can.

Hardware Calibration and built-in colorimeter

While the screen comes factory calibration with a dE <1, it also offers hardware level calibration, allowing you to calibrate the screens internal 3D LUT for high levels of accuracy, precision and flexibility. It also features a built-in colorimeter, so you don’t necessarily need your own calibration tool. Calibrations can even be controlled remotely if needed.

The screen works with Dell’s ‘Color Management Software’ package, but there’s no mention at the moment of support for third party software packages.

Connectivity

Thunderbolt 4 is featured (with 140W power delivery) along with daisy chaining support and a 2.5 Gbps RJ45 Ethernet connection. Pop-out, easy access USB-C (27W) and USB-A (10W) data ports are also featured for easy connectivity of peripherals. Other connections are not listed in the press release but we will confirm more details from CES.
