120Hz refresh rate on their model

It’s an alternative option to a couple of models we’ve already seen announced/released, including the Samsung Odyssey G95NC (with 240Hz refresh rate) and Acer Predator Z57 (with 120Hz refresh rate). Cooler Master have confirmed that their model will feature a 120Hz refresh rate.

Cooler Master GP57ZS Specs

The screen is 57” in size so you’ll need a large desktop area to accommodate it. It’s built around a VA technology panel and has an impressive 2304-zone Mini LED backlight to offer high-end HDR performance and local dimming capabilities. The panel has a steep 1000R curvature and offers a 7680 x 2160 resolution, the same as two 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution monitors combined. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates.

In other specs there is a wide colour gamut covering 98% of the DCI-P3 colour space, along with an 8-bit+FRC colour depth. The screen has a 1ms G2G response time spec, 3000:1 contrast ratio, typical SDR brightness spec of 400 nits and can reach a peak brightness of 1100 nits in HDR thanks to its Mini LED backlight. It will also be certified under the VESA DisplayHDR 1000 tier.

Features and Connectivity

There’s also a USB type-C connection (with DP Alt mode, data and 90W power delivery), 2x HDMI ports (capabilities are not listed yet) and 1x DisplayPort 1.4. The screen can support PiP and PbP modes for handling multiple devices, and has a built-in KVM switch function too. There’s some RGB lighting on the back of the screen too along with 4x USB data ports and a headphone jack. There are also some decent 2x 10W integrated speakers. The stand offers tilt, height and swivel adjustments.
