BenQ Zowie XL2586X+ Unleashed with 600Hz Fast TN Panel and DyAc 2

BenQ have recently released a new Esports Gaming monitor in their Zowie series, one we’ve not reported on previously in fact but adding to the new pretty wide range of 600Hz+ gaming monitors that have been announced. The XL2586X+ is a 24.1” sized screen built around a ‘Fast TN’ panel offering a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a massive 600Hz refresh rate. This model also features the latest Ben Q DyAc 2 technology to reduce motion blur and ensure exceptional image clarity, with the brand remaining a very popular choice in the competitive gaming and esports segment. Billed as delivering “the best motion clarity in the industry” by Ben Q’s marketing team, this is surely a monitor that will appeal to competitive gamers far and wide.
BenQ Zowie XL2586X+ Specs

The other specs of the XL2586X+ are somewhat sparse on BenQ’s website but we will endeavour to provide you with what we know so far. The screen is 24.1” in size (24” class) with a flat format ‘Fast TN’ LCD panel. It offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 91 PPI pixel density, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 170/160 viewing angles, 320 nits typical brightness, an 8-bit colour depth and a standard colour gamut covering 99% of the sRGB colour space.
New TN Film Panel
BenQ’s continual developments with the AU Optronics TN Film panel apparently mean less overshoot when gaming, and there is an overall enhanced colour performance with the introduction of a new vivid colour film and a new Auto Game Mode which automatically switches colour modes depending on what is on the screen.

DyAc for Motion Blur Reduction
A key and popular feature of BenQ’s Zowie gaming monitors is the “DyAc 2” (Dynamic Accuracy) setting, a blur reduction mode which helps improve motion clarity in gaming. BenQ say that “through ZOWIE’s exclusive panel hardware design, DyAc/DyAc⁺/DyAc™2 provide best in-class motion clarity and better overall visual experience.” A new dual backlight technology also helps enhance the blur reduction mode, while being apparently easier on the eyes.

Stand adjustments
The stand offers tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments, and this model incorporates a new monitor stand to allow for easier adjustments in height. It also features side shields to prevent glare, allowing you to stay focused on your gaming.

Connectivity
For connectivity there are 3x HDMI 2.1 connections, 1x DisplayPort 1.4 input and a headphone jack.
