Asus ROG Strix XG27ACMS Launched with a 1440p 320Hz IPS panel

Asus have unveiled their new ROG Strix XG27ACMS gaming monitor, a 27” sized screen built around a ‘Rapid IPS’ panel, with a QHD 2560 x 1440 resolution and an ultra-fast 320Hz refresh rate.
Asus ROG Strix XG27ACMS Specs
The screen is 27” in size, with a flat format QHD IPS panel. It offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution, a 1ms G2G response time spec, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 nits brightness (SDR) and 500 nits peak (HDR), 178/178 viewing angles, a 10-bit colour depth and an extended colour gamut covering 130% of the sRGB and 94% of the DCI-P3 colour space. Flicker-free and Low Blue Light technologies combine for a more comfortable viewing experience.

The high 320Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible systems, including (in process) certification under the AMD ‘FreeSync Premium’ and NVIDIA ‘G-sync Compatible’ schemes. Asus also promote the inclusion of “Variable overdrive 2.0” which should hopefully help control response times during VRR situations.
It also uses ELMB-SYNC technology to reduce motion blur via a strobing blur reduction backlight, that can be used at the same time as VRR.
Additionally, ASUS DisplayWidget Centre allows users to adjust their settings with a mouse instead of physical buttons. To further enhance your gaming experience this screen also features “ROG Gaming AI” features including “Dynamic crosshair” and “Dynamic Shadow Boost” settings.

The stand offers tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments. The stand also includes a built-in phone holder and the base has a tripod socket making it easy to set up a webcam.
Connectivity
For connectivity the screen offers 1x DisplayPort 1.4 and 1x HDMI 2.1 connections. There is also 1x USB Type-C port (with 15W power delivery and DP Alt mode) and 1x headphone jack.
Pricing and availability
Pricing and availability are not confirmed at this time but the product page is already available.
