AOC Expand Their G4 Line-Up with 2 New 320Hz Fast IPS Panels

AOC have announced two further models in their affordable G4 gaming series. There’s the 27” sized Q27G4SRU which offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution combined with a 320Hz refresh rate. There’s also the larger 32” sized U32G4U which offers a “4K” 3840 x 2160 resolution and native 160Hz refresh rate. The U32G4U also boasts a dual-mode function allowing users to double their refresh rate to 320Hz when dropping to a lower 1080p resolution.
AOC Gaming Q27G4SRU Specs


This 27″ sized screen is built around a ‘Fast IPS’ LCD technology panel. It offers a 2560 x 1440 (QHD) resolution, ~111 PPI pixel density, 1ms G2G response time spec (0.3ms MPRT spec), 1000:1 contrast ratio, 178/178 viewing angles, 450 nits brightness (SDR) and an extended colour gamut covering 129.3% of the sRGB and 93.7% of the DCI-P3 colour spaces. The 320Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates from compatible systems and offers NVIDIA G-sync compatibility.
AOC Gaming U32G4U Specs


In comparison the U32G4U offers a larger is 32” sized screen (31.5” accurate) with a flat format. This ‘Fast IPS’ panel features a “4K” 3840 x 2160 resolution and native 160Hz refresh rate. As previously stated it supports AOC’s ‘Dual Frame’ technology, more commonly known as ‘dual-mode’, which is great if you like switching between immersive games requiring amazing visuals and fast paced games requiring lightening speeds.

In other specs the panel has a ~140 PPI pixel density, 1ms G2G response time spec (0.5ms MPRT spec), 1000:1 contrast ratio, 450 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles and a wide colour gamut covering 127.2% of the sRGB and 95.6% of the DCI-P3 colour spaces. The native 160Hz refresh rate is is supported by adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates from compatible systems.
Gaming features
Both screens come complete with all the usual gaming features you would expect to see in a G4 series model such as Shadow Control, Game Colour, Dial Point, Frame Rate Counter, Crosshairs, Low Input Lag and a Motion Blur Reduction.
Connectivity

When it comes to connectivity both the Q27G4SRU and the U32G4U have lots to offer, which include 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 1x DisplayPort 1.4 and 4x USB type-A data ports. There is also a headphone jack and 2x 2W integrated speakers, along with support for PiP/PbP for handling multiple devices.
Availability and pricing
Both the Q27G4SRU and the U32G4U are due to be released in mid-October at attractive price points of £249.99 GBP (Q27G4SRU) and £339.99 GBP (U32G4U).
