AOC AGON Pro AGP346UCSD Unveiled with 34″ Ultrawide Penta Tandem QD-OLED Panel

AOC have introduced Samsung Displays newest 5th-Gen Penta Tandem QD-OLED panel technology into their recently launched AGP346UCSD display. Part of their ever evolving AGON Pro gaming series, this 34” ultrawide screen has a subtle 1800R curvature, features a 3440 x 1440 resolution, 360Hz refresh rate and DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity.
Penta Tandem QD-OLED, a marketing term coined by Samsung Display in February for their latest panel technology offers a 5-layer Tandem structure and their latest EL 3.0 material. It’s a panel we’ve seen used in various other 34″ ultrawide monitors announced / released this year and it also offers an RGB stripe sub-pixel layout, enhancing the image and text clarity and delivering deeper and more accurate blacks. The panel also boasts a ‘DarkShield 3.0’ anti-reflective coating to help reduce the effects of ambient light and improve blacks in well-lit rooms.
AOC AGON Pro AGP346UCSD Specs

The display is a 34” sized screen with a 1800R curvature. It offers a 3440 x 1440 resolution, 109 PPI pixel density, 0.03ms G2G response time spec, 21:9 aspect ratio, 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio, 300 nits brightness (SDR). 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 99% of the DCI-P3, 100% of the sRGB and 97% of the Adobe RGB. It also offers a factory calibrated Delta E<1 accuracy too.

A high-end HDR experience awaits too thanks to the capabilities of its QD-OLED panel with certification under the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 tier and a peak brightness of 1300 nits.
The 360Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates from compatible systems and it is certified under the NVIDIA ‘G-sync compatible’ scheme. Other gaming features include AOC’s customisable G-Menu software, Dynamic crosshair, Sniper Scope, Dark Area Control, Enhanced Shadow Detail, Game Colour, Frame Counter and FPS/RTS pre-sets. It’s slim bezel design and RGB ambient lighting complete with music sync effects ensures this display will look the part in any gaming set-up.

The stand includes a range of tilt, height and swivel adjustments for an optimised viewing position, and it contains the usual Flicker-free and Low Blue Light technologies to help reduce eye strain and fatigue. In addition, it comes with AOC’s latest OLED Care system too which will help mitigate the risk of panel burn-in, thus increasing the longevity of the panel.
Connectivity

For connectivity there are 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 1x DisplayPort 2.1 input (UHBR20 tier), 1x USB Type-C (with DP Alt Mode and 15W power delivery), and 3x USB Type-A ports. In addition, there is a headphone jack, 2x 8W integrated speakers, a KVM switch function and PiP/PbP support for handling multiple devices.
Availability and pricing
This screen has only appeared on AOC’s China website so further details on global release and pricing remains unclear.
