Various New HP HyperX OMEN OLED Models Leaked Ahead of CES 2026

Website Windows Latest has recently provided some details about various HP launches which are apparently expected at CES 2026 next week, including some new monitors in their range. Take this news as a rumour at this stage, we don’t have confirmed information yet, but the specs and models seem credible and likely. We’ll try and find out more information at CES if we can. The reported new range includes the following models.
HP HyperX OMEN OLED 34

This is a 34″ ultrawide screen using what Windows Latest referred to as a “HyperX ProLuma Display with Professional-Grade Color Accuracy”. Based on the specs and other information, we believe this to be a fancy (odd?) way of referring to a QD-OLED technology panel. It must be OLED since it also includes what HP are calling their “HyperX OLED Core Protect” OLED Care feature set.
The screen will reportedly offer a 360Hz refresh rate and a new “V-stripe” sub-pixel layout (RGB stripe), designed to improve text clarity and image sharpness. Other details provided in the leaked information include a 0.03ms G2G response time and VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification. The screen will also feature customizable aRGB Lighting on the back.
If this is indeed a real monitor then other specs we know about based on the Samsung Display panel would include a 3440 x 1440 resolution, 1800r curvature and 1300 nits peak brightness spec.
HP HyperX OMEN OLED 27qs

This monitor is listed with a reported 500Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms G2G response time, and as far as we can tell this would be using Samsung Display’s Gen 3 500Hz panel from 2025. That makes it a 27″ sized monitor as the naming suggests and it would have a 2560 x 1440 resolution. We’ve seen this used already on several monitors, including the MSI MAG 272QP X50 and MSI MPG 271QR X50 which we’ve reviewed already.

The leaked specs provided include VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification, >99% sRGB / 99% DCI-P3 / 98% Adobe RGB colour gamut and customizable aRGB Lighting on the back of the screen. We’d assume the same kind of OLED Care features as the 34″ model too although they’re not mentioned in the leaked information.
HP HyperX OMEN OLED 27q

This is apparently going to be a budget-focused OLED monitor, offering a 27″ screen size and a 240Hz refresh rate. This screen will also offer a 0.03ms G2G response time and 99% sRGB / 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Resolution is not mentioned but given this is a budget-focused screen, we’d expect 2560 x 1440. It’s not clear what panel technology is used for this model, with both WOLED and QD-OLED panels available with this spec.
Stand adjustments are mentioned for this model and include tilt, height, swivel and rotate and will include “HyperX OLED Core protect” OLED care features, as on the OMEN OLED 34.
HP HyperX OMEN 24 (bonus LCD)

No information was provided for this model other than the image shown, but based on the model name we can assume this is a small format 24″ sized screen and therefore likely to be an LCD of some sort. No OLED panels are available in this small size at this time. More info when we get it.
