Sony INZONE M10S II Launched with a 27” WOLED 540/720Hz Panel

Sony have unveiled a new monitor in their INZONE gaming range, specifically aimed at FPS players and developed in collaboration with the esports brand Fnatic. The INZONE M10S II is an update to their M10S model in 2024 and comes with a whole host of enhancements to help give you that winning formula for gaming.
The screen is 27” in size and features a 4th Gen Primary RGB Tandem WOLED panel from LG Display, offering improved brightness, colours and black depth compared to previous Gen WOLED panels. It boasts a 2560 x 1440 resolution and a super-fast native refresh rate of 540Hz which can be boosted to an even more extreme 720Hz using a dual-mode function when dropping to a lower 720p (HD) resolution. It’s using the same Tandem WOLED panel we’ve seen on other recent monitors such as the Asus ROG Swift PG27AQWP-W which we’ve reviewed in the past.
Sony INZONE M10S II Specs

This is a 27” sized screen (26.5” accurately) WOLED panel with a flat format, 2560 x 1440 resolution, 110 PPI pixel density, 0.02ms G2G response time spec, 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio, 335 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit colour depth featuring 1.07 billion colours, and a wide colour gamut covering 99.5% of the DCI-P3 colour space.

The super-fast 540 / 720Hz refresh rates are supported by adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates from compatible systems. VRR Anti-flicker technology is included which is the first OLED monitor to feature this technology from Sony’s range, whilst Motion Blur Reduction and Dynamic Crosshair have also been added to this updated model for improved gaming performance. Other gaming features include Black Equaliser, Low Latency, Frame Rate Counter and timer.
The M10S II also offers a 24.5” aspect ratio mode which can operate at a native 1080p so you can easily switch between full-size 27” (1440p) and official tournament size of 24.5” (1080p), and the inclusion of FPS Pro and FPS Pro+ modes mean you can game with extra confidence.

For HDR the screen offers a 1500 nits peak brightness spec (1.5% APL) and supports HDR10 and HLG formats.
The screen features what Sony are calling a “Super Anti-Glare” panel coating to reduce reflections, making it more suited to brighter room conditions than a glossy finish. This is expected to be the standard LG Display matte AG coating for WOLED panels.

The screen offers tilt, height and swivel adjustments so you can find your optimum gaming position and it comes equipped with Low Blue Light and flicker-Free technologies, both of which are TÜV Rheinland certified, to help reduce eye fatigue. For peace of mind the screen comes with a 3-year warranty and OLED protection features, which include a custom heat-sink, to help protect the panel against burn-in and prolong its lifespan.
Connectivity

For connectivity there are 2x HDMI 2.1, 1x DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR 13.5 tier) and a headphone jack. In addition there are 2x USB Type-A and 1x USB Type-B data ports.
