Philips Momentum 392M7C with 38.5″ VA Panel and 144Hz Refresh Rate

Philips have released a new monitor in their Momentum lineup aimed at entertainment uses and console gaming. The new 392M7C is 38.5″ in size and has a 144Hz refresh rate with adaptive-sync support for VRR from both NVIDIA and AMD systems, as well as from consoles over HDMI. It sports a 1920 x 1080 resolution and uses a curved (3000R) VA technology panel.

Spec wise the screen has a 1ms MPRT (implying a blur reduction backlight option), 5000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 16.7m colour depth and slightly wider than normal 150.48% sRGB colour gamut. The 1ms MPRT spec is a bit unusual, as this is likely only available at fixed high refresh rates (if indeed it has the mode), which might not be applicable for the target console gaming usage.

There are 2x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort and 1x VGA connections provided along with a headphone output. The stand has only a basic tilt adjustment.

No confirmation of regional availability or pricing at this time. More info when we get it.
