MSI MAG 346CQDF E20 Launched with a 34″ Ultrawide 200Hz Rapid VA Panel and Dual-Mode Support

MSI have recently unveiled a budget friendly dual-mode monitor aimed at gamers. The MSI MAG 346CQDF E20 features a 34” ultrawide, curved, Rapid VA LCD panel with a 3440 x 1440 resolution and a native 200Hz refresh rate. It also boasts a dual-mode function allowing you to switch to a speedy 400Hz refresh rate when dropping down to a 1720 x 720 resolution, allowing you to prioritise either image detail and resolution, or frame rates and speed.

This has a 34” sized screen with a 1500R curvature and is built around a Rapid VA LCD technology panel. It offers a 3440 x 1440 resolution, 0.5ms G2G response time spec, 4000:1 contrast ratio, 21:9 aspect ratio, 300 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 95% of the DCI-P3, 120% of the sRGB and 85% of the Adobe RGB colour spaces.

Its 200Hz / 400Hz refresh rates are supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible systems. As with any MAG product there are an array of gaming features including AI Navigator, AI Crosshair, AI Vision, AI Dual-Mode, Super Low Motion Blur Sync, Personalised Colour, built-in Optix Scope and Console Mode to help you stay one step ahead of the competition.

The stand offers tilt adjustment only, but Anti-flicker and Less Blue Light technologies are included to reduce eye fatigue and provide a comfortable viewing experience for those longer gaming sessions.

Connectivity

Connectivity options are also limited and include 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.0 and a headphone jack.
