MSI MAG 276QRM34 Launched with 27” 1440p 340Hz IPS Panel and Mini-LED backlight

MSI have revealed a new gaming monitor in their MAG series. The MSI MAG 276QRM34 has a 27” ‘Rapid IPS’ panel with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and an overclocked 340Hz refresh rate. It also boasts a 1,152-zone Mini-LED backlight for some top level HDR performance and brightness.

MSI MAG 276QRM34 Specs

This display has a 27″ sized screen and is built around a Rapid IPS LCD technology panel. It offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 108 PPI pixel density, 1ms G2G response time spec (0.5ms MPRT), 1000:1 contrast ratio, 600 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 147% of the sRGB and 99% of the DCI-P3 colour spaces.

The overclocked 340Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible systems. Other gaming enhancements are Super-Low Motion Blur sync technology, AI Crosshair, AI Navigator, AI Vision and Optix Scope, Aspect Ratio options and Game Mode.

The 1,152-zone Mini LED backlight and Quantum Dot technology offer excellent HDR capabilities, with excellent control over the content and improvements to contrast, black depth and brightness. The screen is also certified under the VESA DisplayHDR 1000 scheme and includes a peak brightness spec of 1000 nits.

The stand supports a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments, whilst Flicker-free and Less Blue Light technologies are also included to help combat eye strain and fatigue.

Connectivity

Connectivity options include 2x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2,1 ports and a headphone jack. In addition, there is PiP/PbP support for handling multiple devices.

Availability and pricing

The MSI MAG 276QRM34 is already available to buy in China at a price of CNY 1,999 (approx. $299) with details on wider availability still awaited.
