LG 34GX90SA Smart Monitor with a 34″ Ultrawide OLED Panel and 240Hz Refresh Rate

Originally unveiled on LG’s Japan website back in January, but now available in other regions including from LG.com in the US, the 34GX90SA is a 34″ ultrawide OLED monitor built around an LG.Display WOLED technology panel offering a 3440 x 1440 resolution, 800R curvature and a 240Hz refresh rate. Like the larger 39″ model we saw showcased at CES this year, this new screen features LG’s WebOS software, offering Smart TV-like features and streaming services.

Experience enhanced gaming in webOS with AI tools. Dynamic Tone Mapping and AI Picture sharpen visuals, while AI Personalized Picture Wizard customizes settings to your taste. AI Sound completes the package, delivering precision-tuned audio for every game or stream.

LG 34GX90SA Specs
In other specs the screen has a 0.03ms G2G response time, 1.5 million:1 contrast ratio, 275 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, 10-bit colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 98.5% DCI-P3. The 240Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR and the screen has been certified under the AMD ‘FreeSync Premium’ and NVIDIA ‘G-sync Compatible’ schemes. It’s certified under the VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black tier and offers a peak brightness of 1300 nits (1.5%) for HDR.
The stand offers tilt, height and swivel adjustments.

Connectivity options
The screen offers 1x USB type-C (with DP Alt mode and 65W power delivery), 1x DisplayPort 1.4 and 2x HDMI 2.1 video connections along with 2x USB data ports. There’s also a headphone jack and some integrated speakers.
