Dell UltraSharp U3023E with Rare 30″ 16:10 Aspect Ratio and 2560 x 1600 Resolution
Dell recently released details of one of their new 2023 line-up of UltraSharp monitors on their website, the U3023E. Interestingly this is a 30″ sized screen but with a pretty rare 16:10 aspect ratio, something you don’t see used very often any more. It sports a 2560 x 1600 resolution and is aimed at general office and productivity uses. Dell point out that this resolution offers 11% more space than the common 16:9 aspect ratio 1440p displays on the market, and it looks almost like it’s been stretched when you look at the photos, and when you’re so used to seeing 16:9 aspect ratio displays. It has a borderless design and platinum silver finish.
Dell UltraSharp U3023E Specs
The screen is 30″ in size with a 16:10 aspect ratio and is based on an IPS-type panel. It offers a 2560 x 1600 resolution, 5ms G2G response time (fast mode), 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 1.07b colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 95% DCI-P3.
For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x HDMI and 1x USB type-C (90W power delivery, DP Alt mode) offered for video. There is also a DP output. For data there are 2x USB type-C upstream, 1x USB type-C downstream (with 15W power delivery) and 4x USB 3.2 downstream ports (one with battery charging 1.2). There is also an audio line-out and an RJ45 LAN ports provided. The stand offers a fill range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments.
Productivity Enhancements
- Get enhanced manageability with MAC Address pass-through, PXE Boot, and Wake-on-LAN conveniently built in.

- Experience made-for-you comfort by tilting, swiveling, pivoting and adjusting the height of your monitor (150mm max).
