Dell Showcase New U2520Q Monitor at CES with 25″ IPS Panel and Wide Colour Gamut

Dell are showcasing a new 25″ monitor in their UltraSharp range at this year’s CES event in Las Vegas. The U2520Q offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution IPS panel and a wide 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut. It is aimed at general all round and productivity uses and includes a USB type-C port for single cable connectivity.

Spec wise the 25″ IPS panel offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 5ms G2G response time (fast mode), 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit colour depth and 60Hz refresh rate. There is a wide gamut backlight used which covers 95% DCI-P3, equating to around 125% of a typical sRGB colour gamut screen. The screen carries a factory calibrated sRGB mode with dE <2 offered.

For connectivity there are DisplayPort 1.4, DisplayPort out, HDMI 2.0 and USB type-C offered for video. There are also additional 1x USB type-C charging port, 3x USB 3.0 and 1x analogue audio connections provided. The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments.

The U2520Q is expected to be available on 30th January 2020 at a price of $479.99 USD.
