Dell Release Range of New UltraSharp Screens in 34, 31.5, 27 and 23.8″ Sizes

Dell are set to release various new models in their UltraSharp range of displays. They are aimed at general all-round and office type uses with a focus on USB type-C connectivity, productivity and borderless designs. The new models will include the following:

  • U3419W (pictured at the top) – this is a 34″ curved UltraWide display available now in the UK starting at £968. This model uses a 3440 x 1440 resolution curved (1900R) IPS technology panel although being a general/office screen it is limited to 60Hz refresh rate only. In other specs there is a 5ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 1.07b colour depth and sRGB colour gamut. USB type-C, DisplayPort 1.2 and 2x HDMI connections are provided along with 4x USB 3.0 downstream / 2x USB upstream ports. The stand offers tilt, height and swivel adjustments and there are also 2x 9W integrated speakers, PiP / PbP support and a KVM feature.

  • U3219Q – a 31.5″ screen with 4K resolution which we brought you news on at the end of September. This is apparently available now in the UK starting at £864. Please refer to the previous news piece for more information on that model.

  • U2719D and U2719DC – 27″ in size and available now at a price of £490 and £523 respectively. The C model includes USB type-C connectivity and both these models are based on a 4-side borderless design. These two are based on IPS panel technology and offer a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 5ms G2G response time, 1000: contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 16.7m colour depth and sRGB gamut. The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments and there are 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x DP 1.4 out for daisy-chaining, 1x HDMI 1.4, 4x USB 3.0 (2 with fast charging) and an audio out connection offered. The C model also includes USB type-C as we said earlier.

  • U2419H and U2419HC –  23.8″ in size and available now starting at £251 for the H model, and £286 for the HC model. The latter includes USB type-C connectivity. These models are based on an IPS technology panel with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 5ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 16.7m colour depth and sRGB gamut.  The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments and there are 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x DP 1.4 out for daisy-chaining, 1x HDMI 1.4, 4x USB 3.0 (2 with fast charging) and an audio out connection offered. The C model also includes USB type-C as we said earlier.
