AOC U27G4XM Arrives with 27″ 4K 160Hz IPS Panel, Mini LED Backlight and Dual Mode

AOC have announced yet another display in their popular and affordable G4 Gaming line-up. The U27G4XM is a 27″ screen built around a ‘Fast IPS’ panel with a 4K resolution and 160Hz refresh rate. It’s other highlights include a dual-mode function which allows you to easily double your refresh rate to 320Hz when dropping to a lower 1080p resolution, and Mini LED technology with 1,152 local dimming zones for some top level HDR performance and brightness
AOC U27G4XM Specs

This is a 27” sized flat screen display which utilises a ‘Fast IPS’ LCD technology panel, 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution, 109 PPI pixel density, 1ms G2G response time spec, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit +FRC colour depth and a wide colour gamut covering 151.8% of the sRGB, 98% of the DCI-P3 and 96.5% of the Adobe RGB colour spaces.
The 160Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates from compatible systems. The 1,152-zone Mini LED backlight offers impressive HDR capabilities with excellent local dimming, as well as certification under the VESA DisplayHDR 1000 tier and a peak brightness spec of 1200 nits.

It offers a range of gaming focussed features including Game Mode, Low Input Lag, Game Colour, Shadow Control, Crosshair, Dial Point and Frame Counter. Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free technologies are also incorporated. It also comes with AOC’s G-Menu software to allow you to customise your monitor to suit your gaming needs.

The 3-sided frameless black design has a red accent on the back and offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments.
Connectivity

The connectivity options include HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4 and 4x USB 3.2 Type-A connections. It also offers PiP/PbP support for handling multiple devices and a headphone jack.
