AOC Expand P2 Series with U32P2, Q32P2 and U28P2A Displays in Sizes of 31.5″ and 28″
AOC have extended their portfolio of P2 series professional displays with three new models: the 31.5” U32P2 with 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution, the 31.5” Q32P2 with 2560 x 1440, and the 28” U28P2A, also with 4K resolution. For increased productivity when working at home or in the office, these monitors offer sizeable screen real estate, a height-adjustable stand with portrait orientation option, and a built-in USB hub to easily connect peripherals.
The U32P2 is 31.5″ in size with a 3840 x 2160 4K resolution. This uses a VA technology panel, unlike most of AOC’s P2 line-up that are normally IPS technology. It offers a wide colour gamut covering 119% sRGB and 88% Adobe RGB coverage. It has a 3-side frameless design and supports AOC’s VESA-P2 bracket, which enables users to easily attach a mini-PC such as an Intel NUC directly to the stand of the monitor, essentially creating a standalone all-in-one system. The U32P2 comes with 2 x3 W speakers and VESA 100 mount capability and features two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.2 connection. For some occasional gaming there is a 4ms G2G response time quoted along with a slightly boosted refresh rate at 75Hz.
The Q32P2 is also 31.5″ in size but this model features a 2560 x 1440 resolution IPS technology panel. It has a standard gamut backlight with 102% sRGB and 75% Adobe RGB coverage quoted. It has a 1.07b colour depth support. This model comes with 2 x 3 W speakers and VESA 100 mount capability for alternative installations, and is compatible with AOC’s VESA-P2 bracket, too. This model also provides two HDMI 1.4 inputs and a DisplayPort 1.2 input for varied connectivity with multiple devices. For some occasional gaming there is a 4ms G2G response time quoted along with a slightly boosted refresh rate at 75Hz.
Suited for smaller desks, the U28P2A is 28″ in size and features a 3840 x 2160 4K resolution IPS technology panel. This model has a wide colour gamut with 120% sRGB and 89% Adobe RGB coverage quoted. There is 10-bit colour depth support and just like its larger siblings, the U28P2A employs an ergonomic stand, AOC’s VESA-P2 compatibility, and is fitted with 2 x 3 W speakers.
With comprehensive ergonomic adjustments (150 mm height, -180°/+180° swivel, generous tilt range and pivot mode), built-in speakers and a 4-port USB 3.2 hub, these models are fully packed. Low Blue Light mode reduces potentially harmful blue wavelengths for comfortable use in the dark, while the Flicker-Free technology eliminates flicker by using direct current instead of PWM to adjust brightness. All 3 screens feature adaptive sync to support VRR from both NVIDIA and AMD systems and helping handle some occasional gaming, although keep in mind the limited 60Hz/75Hz maximum refresh rate.
The AOC Q32P2 and U32P2 will be available from February 2021 at an RRP of £269 and £379, respectively. The AOC U28P2A will be available from April 2021 at an RRP of £329.
